OUR WINES
From the encounter between experience and innovative ideas, wines of high quality are born, in a context of careful vineyard management and great respect for the environment. On the hills surrounding Cascina Rossa and Diano d'Alba, the vineyards of Dolcetto grow for the Diano d'Alba selections, in Cascina Tezzo of Serralunga d'Alba Nebbiolo and Moscato are cultivated, while in Montelupo Albese there are Barbera or Chardonnay.
This elegant red wine is born from the blend of vineyards cultivated with Dolcetto around the company headquarters. It has a deep ruby color and decisive fruity aromas with a subtle hint of vanilla. It is fresh, structured, and also persistent, all typical characteristics of this appellation, it goes well with the entire meal, as the Piedmont daily life requires.
It is one of the two "crus" that the company vinifies separately in the Dolcetto di Diano area. "Sorì" is the local term that indicates a well-exposed position, usually on the upper part of the hill, where the exposure to the sun is best. Mature and rich grapes give this ruby red wine with lively violet reflections, fragrant, savory, and persistent on the palate, good for accompanying even large meat dishes.
It is given in limited quantities by a small vineyard particularly favored by its exposure. Its grapes, vinified separately, give a Dolcetto of great complexity and structure, which matures slowly and knows how to resist time for many years. The color is intense and bright ruby, the aroma combines broad fruity notes with sumptuous hints of jam. The taste is full, warm, and slightly tannic.
It is a red wine of great gustatory richness, soft yet with a nice structure, originating from vineyards on medium hills. It is bottled in the summer following the harvest after spending several months in wooden barrels. It is a wine with character and personality: intense garnet color, straightforward and vinous aromas, marked by jam and vanilla, and a full-bodied and warm flavor. It pairs well with flavorful cuisine and tasty dishes.
From Uve Nebbiolo grapes harvested in the municipality of Montelupo Albese, vinified with soft pressing and fermented with the skins for about a week, this important red wine is born. It spends several months aging in wood. It presents itself in its garnet color with intense aromas of berries and jam. It has a warm, tannic flavor with spicy aftertastes suitable for meats and mature cheeses.
The most prestigious wine of the company comes from a beautiful vineyard of over two hectares in Cascina Tezzo, in Serralunga d'Alba, a village known for full-bodied and spicy Barolos. The excellent exposure and compact soils give the grapes and the wine a great concentration of substances. The result is a Barolo with a garnet color with subtle orange reflections, an elegant, fruity, and spicy aroma. The taste is full and persistent, perfect for great meat and game dishes.
It is from the Moscato vineyards that the company cultivates in Serralunga d'Alba that this sweet and fragrant wine is obtained, with an intense and persistent aroma reminiscent of the original grape, but also with strong hints of peach and exotic fruit that repeat on the palate. In the glass, it reveals a delicate straw yellow color, enriched by a very fine perlage. A wine that pairs well with dry pastries and desserts in general, especially those with fruit.
White and young wine, it comes from Chardonnay grapes grown in the southwest in the municipality of Montelupo Albese. Subjected to soft pressing and fermented at low temperatures in steel, it gives a wine with a straw yellow color and golden reflections, intense in scent reminiscent of apple and sage. Full and persistent, it is excellent as an aperitif and pairs wonderfully with appetizers, especially those with fish.
